What Can You Expect?

At your first appointment, you will be given a thorough physical exam which will include your past medical history, test results related to your pain condition, and review imaging results with you, such as MRI’s, CT scans, or X-rays. The doctor will target different aspects of your painful condition including where your pain is located, the severity and character of your pain, when it occurs, and if you are experiencing other symptoms related to your pain.

It is very important for you to inform the doctor about other treatments you have tried, including medications, physical therapy, chiropractic or acupuncture treatments.

After a thorough evaluation of your medical information, the doctor will discuss the treatment options available and develop a treatment plan with you to maximize your function and reduce or eliminate your pain.
